National Workshop on Turbomachinery Aerodynamics

"National Workshop on Turbomachinery Aerodynamics: Design and Optimization using CFD" to be held at IIT Mandi, H.P. from June 21-24, 2013.
The workshop includes hands-on training & lecture-cum-discussion sessions by experts from Industry and Academia. This 4-day event focuses on:

• Turbomachine Principles.
• Industry Standard CFD & Mesh Generation Techniques.
• Flow Path Simulation.
• Axial and Radial Turbomachines.
• Blade Design, Micro channel cooling and CFD Analysis.
• Combustion Fundamentals & Combustors Design.
• High precision 3D scanning & prototyping technologies for design, development and quality control applications for Turbomachinery.
• Combustion Modelling using CFD.
• 2D/3D CFD simulation and design of radial turbomachines/fan/pumps.
• Pressure drop characteristics in continuum-based laminar compressible micro convective flow useful for Design of Turbine blades.
